

The fact is that 443 million schools days are missed every year due to children’s consumption of contaminated water. The absence of clean drinking water serves as a major impediment to a child’s access to quality education and overall health.
This Ramadan, we are again supporting the drive to provide clean water to children in developing countries by supporting Dubai Cares “Thirst for Education” campaign, which is raising funds to provide children access to clean drinking water globally.
Dubai Cares aims to improve children’s health, increase school enrollment rates and decrease absenteeism, through improved access to clean water. Without the provision of clean drinking water, children will remain out of school, deprived of an education and, ultimately, deprived of an opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty.
What we ask of you is simple, visit the Dubai Cares website at www.dubaicares.ae and make a donation. By donating as little as AED30 you can sponsor one child’s access to clean drinking water in school for one year.
